Quotes
“Caregivers play a critical role in supporting Canadian families, and our programs need to reflect their invaluable contributions. As we work to implement a permanent caregiver’s program, these two new pilots will not only improve support for caregivers, but also provide families with the quality care they deserve.” – The Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
“After hearing stories and feedback from caregivers across Canada, I am proud that we are taking concrete action to create policies to support the caregiver community. Generations of women and men have advocated for this important pathway and have cared for our families and loved ones here in Canada. Now is the time to return the care they deserve."– The Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Small Business

Understanding the Requirements
To participate,
candidates need at least a CLB level 4 English score, a Canadian high school
diploma or equivalent, recent relevant care work experience, and a full-time
job offer from a Canadian company.
I'm nearly 100% sure that
most of you have already heard about Canada's caregivers’ program, which offers
home care workers a direct pathway to permanent residence upon arrival.
Recently, the Canadian government announced that the new Home Care Worker
Immigration Pilots will open on March 31, 2025.
Before you risk falling
victim to scams, please review these conditions carefully:
- Language Proficiency:
You must achieve at least a level 4 rating on the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB). In other words, your IELTS or CELPIP test score must meet or exceed level 4 – a requirement that's generally quite attainable. - Educational Requirement:
You need to have the equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma. This means a minimum of high school completion, or holding qualifications such as a BSc, ND, or HND. This requirement is straightforward for most applicants. - Work Experience:
You must have recent and relevant work experience as a care worker. This is the more challenging criterion.
My team @LeadLekan is already coordinating with homecare Agencies in Nigeria to provide training, certification, and the necessary work experience. If you're interested, please send us a direct message. - Job Offer:
You must secure a full-time home care job offer from a Canadian company. This is another critical step – you must be officially hired as a home care worker by a legitimate Canadian employer. Be absolutely sure that any job offer you receive is genuine.
