Office Support Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Status
Specialist to assist individuals applying for Social Security Disability
benefits (SSDI/SSI) and other benefits. This role involves direct communication
with the Social Security Administration (SSA) in the United
States, ensuring timely updates on client claims and facilitating the
processing of essential documentation. The ideal candidate will possess
excellent communication skills, a persuasive yet professional manner, and the
ability to manage sensitive client information efficiently.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Liaise
with SSA representatives to gather updates on client claims and ask
follow-up questions to aid benefit processing.
- Accurately
record and update client status in our Salesforce CRM system.
- Notify
caseworkers of claim developments and any pending decisions.
- Submit
and fax required documents to SSA to support the timely resolution of
claims.
Requirements,
Skills, and Qualifications:
Though
qualified candidates will be trained, we, however, require that our ideal
candidate meet the following:
Required:
- Minimum
of a bachelor’s degree in law, mass communication, English language, or
any relevant field, with at least a Second Class Lower (2:2).
- Strong
communication and client service skills—must be able to speak clear
English with good diction.
- Ability
to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
- Excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly
proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Word (abilities to navigate and
effectively use this program without assistance in an office setting)
- This
is an in-office position; candidates must be willing and able to work
on-site at our Centerville office in CBD, Abuja.
Preferred:
- Prior
experience in a law firm or legal support environment.
- Familiarity
with Social Security Disability procedures and SSA regulations.
- Background
in client service, disability claims, or related administrative roles.
- Experience
using Salesforce CRM or similar platforms.
Job
Type: Full-time
Pay:
₦130,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
